Adventure Hub

Small shop. Big adventure.

Jefferson State Adventure Hub

Brand Identity, Ecommerce, Web Design

Overview

Gear for people who actually go outside.

Adventure Hub is a brick-and-mortar outdoor retailer in Jefferson State that needed a digital presence as rugged as its customers. We built the brand identity, ecommerce platform, and full web experience from scratch. The goal: make a local shop feel like a destination brand without losing the soul of a small operation.

The Problem

Competing with REI from a single storefront.

The outdoor retail space is dominated by big-box players and DTC brands with massive budgets. Adventure Hub had the product knowledge, the community trust, and the curated selection. What they didn't have was a digital experience that matched. Their online presence needed to punch far above its weight class.

The Approach

Warm wood. Cold mountains. Hot orange.

The brand pulls from the physical store itself: cedar tones, dark exteriors, and a burnt orange accent that cuts through everything. The logo system references mountain terrain and compass iconography without feeling like another generic outdoor brand. Typography is deliberate, vintage-forward. The site architecture prioritizes browsing by category and season, the way real shoppers actually think about gear.

We kept the copy tight. "Keep It Wild." "Roam Free." "Chase the Horizon." These aren't slogans, they're the ethos of the shop translated into brand language that works on screen.
