Overview
After building the digital brand for California's SBDC network, we extended the identity system into physical spaces. Signage, environmental graphics, window installations, and interior brand applications for SBDC centers statewide.
The goal was consistency — every center should feel like part of the same network, whether in Sacramento or Eureka.
The Problem
Each SBDC center had developed its own visual approach over the years. Some had professional signage, most had printed paper signs. The brand existed online but disappeared the moment a client walked through the door.
The Approach
We designed a modular environmental brand system that works across different office types, budgets, and landlord restrictions. Wall graphics, window vinyl, wayfinding, and branded materials that any center can implement without a design team.
